Each committee serves as an adviser to the Temple Board and
executor within their prescribed function. Each committee to be composed of two members each, from each
owner body, with no member serving on more than one committee. Members will serve one-year terms. Each committee will hold regular meetings; elect a chairperson for a one-year term and present monthly reports and findings to the Temple Board at the Board’s regular scheduled meetings. Each committee will prepare an annual budget and forecast of
potential revenues (if within that committee’s scope) for approval by the
Temple Board, and subsequently by the member lodges and bodies. Building Maintenance: Investigate and prioritize
maintenance requirements, consult with and receive recommended bids from
established and approved contractors.

in-house maintenance. Grounds: Investigate and prioritize grounds-keeping
requirements, consult with and receive recommended bids from established and
approved contractors. Present bids to

recommended marketing programs to the Temple Board for approval. Establish and execute approved marketing
programs for the building. Develop and
operate communications and information dissemination to the member bodies on
activities within the Temple.
Identifies potential revenue sources and markets to those revenue
sources, as required. Event Function Operations: Provide event
planning services to potential outside clients. Develop and negotiate function contracts
with clients for presentation and approval of the Temple Board. Oversee execution of approved function
contracts. Organize and lead work teams
for pre-function and post-function set-up and tear down of functions and
cleaning requirements. Fund-Raising: Prepare fund-raising materials, identify and
source potential corporate, civic, governmental, and private donors. Schedule and meet with potential donors for
the purpose of obtaining donations toward the building. Plan and execute various fundraising
activities and events throughout the community. Organize and lead work teams as required to
accomplish fund-raising goals. Government and Legal Affairs: Prepare and provide expertise as it relates to legal issues and governmental affairs affecting the building, zoning, historical status, real estate issues and other concerns that impact the status of the building and property.
